According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.91 square miles (2.36Â km2), of which 0.89 square miles (2.31Â km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05Â km2) is water.[9]
As of the census[3] of 2010, there were 1,153 people, 486 households, and 320 families living in the village. The population density was 1,295.5 inhabitants per square mile (500.2/km2). There were 544 housing units at an average density of 611.2 per square mile (236.0/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.4% White, 0.1% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.1% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 0.9% from other races, and 0.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.1% of the population.
