As of the census[3] of 2010, there were 760 people, 295 households, and 203 families living in the village. The population density was 737.9 inhabitants per square mile (284.9/km2). There were 334 housing units at an average density of 324.3 per square mile (125.2/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.1% White, 0.1% Native American, 0.7% from other races, and 2.1% from two or more races (The Hightowers). Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.7% of the population.
There were 295 households, of which 35.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.2% were married couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.2% were non-families. 26.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.09.
